How to make your workshops more fun? How to avoid bored participnats? How to achieve more during workshops? And finnaly, how to engage participants? We found answers for all these questions and successfully implemented our solutions in the real life.

Three solutions

Croackit is a toolkit that consists of three independed solutions. These solutions are flexible and it is up to facilitator which to use. Indeed, we wanted to make the tools suitable for different types of creative workshops.

Online workshop tool

An online space where you can communicate with your participants before and after the workshop. Provide them all relevant information and receive their input to create the best workshop possible!

Send your participants an invitation with a link to this page, which demonstrates the goal of the workshop and asks participants to subscribe.
The system provides them with four pre-set multiple choice questions regarding their experience, their daily work and their expectations of the workshop.
Every given answer adds a part to the avatar. Finally a statement is created to give an overview of their answers. As a facilitator you can add an open question whenever you want to know something more specific.
After the subscription process participants enter the online workshop environment and meet their team. They can view all avatars, all statements and the open answer that participants provided to the question by the facilitator.
Furthermore everybody can view the schedule, which also makes the workshop part of the bigger picture by providing the reasons for organizing the workshop and the future steps that will be taken with the result of the workshop
Finally participants can view the inspiration board on which the facilitator shows best practices and communicates the value of the workshop by showing the outcome of a previous workshop - from a short ànd a long term perspective

Puzzle boards

Enable participants to get to know each other and the topic better. Introduce them to creative work with a low threshold tool that makes it possible to sketch, write and build!

Give each participant a whiteboard , some markers and any other material you want them to use.
Give a task! E.g. Sketch your thoughts about the topic of the workshop
Set a time for the participants to bring all completed puzzle pieces together and discuss the result

Energizer

Energize your participants whenever they get tired, distracted or stuck in a discussion. Give their minds some rest by creating something with their hands or moving around in the room!

Before the workshop: prepare small tasks in as much balls as you have participants
Whenever you feel the energy is going down, roll the balls towards your participants
Furthermore, the balls can be used for workshop-related creative tasks, such as building a stakeholder map with Lego blocks or creating a first prototype with creative materials inside the ball.
